A new thought

  • Mood: bored
  • Music: Don't Know Why
  • Word of the Day: see previous post

As my college education is drawing to a close (one week left!), I've been toying with the idea of researching a random new topic each day, spending maybe 30 minutes to an hour reading up on it, then posting a summary here, mainly because I have nowhere else I could put it.  So, being bored today, I think I will begin this.  My first subject will be wine.  Why?  Because I don't know much about it, besides the fact I so far only really like Riesling.  So . . . I'll be back in a bit to post.  If you don't like the idea, don't read the posts.  Nothing wrong, though, with having knowledge on random topics.  My second topic, tomorrow (yeah, right, we'll see how long this actually does go on), will be on the Air Force.  The Air Force, as my military history professor reminded me, is a broad topic, in the sense that the universe is a few light years across.  So as soon as I narrow down my term paper thesis, I will be reading the appropriate material and will use that as a topic.  No sense in doing too much extra work.

Any suggestions for other random things to learn about?
