It's been awhile

  • Mood: drained
  • Music: Come On Eileen
  • Word of the Day: burnout

Well, I finally finished the week.  Paper on Monday, and an exam each day since then.  I have to say my microbiology exam was the longest by far.  90 MC questions and 4 short answer.  It was a relief to just turn it in.  I definitely had to choose between instinct and logic on one question.  Logic failed me.  But it's over!  I don't care anymore!

My economics exam turned out to be essay/short answer.  Instead of all the others, which were problems.  Fortunately, I'm not an economics major and would probably starve to death before becoming one.  So that grade won't matter too much, hopefully.

So my question for the week is whether anyone has had any experience dealing with exploding dough tubes.  I want to know if you have.

I spent an hour ordering flowers online for my grandmother.  My dad, love him though I do, needs to not wait til the last second.  My rose bush is officially dead though.  Maybe I can get it replaced today before my dad comes out.  We'll see.

There was a fire this week in one of the dorms on campus.  Nobody was injured, but one building will definitely not be liveable for quite awhile.  I feel bad for all the students who lost their stuff, especially a few of them who were almost done with term papers.  That would probably alone make me go crazy.

I should probably clean up a little before Cheryl comes over.  We're going to make candy!  And I can, since I DON'T HAVE TO STUDY (at least, not til Saturday, or really Friday, but Saturday)!!!!
